Issue: TRAXPro or PETRAPro keeps prompting for Administrator Credentials in the User Access Control (UAC). The user does not have admin rights or login information.

Cause: In Windows Vista and later versions (including Windows 7), Microsoft introduced User Access Control (UAC) for security purposes. This feature prompts for admin credentials when launching certain programs. If the user is not an administrator, this prompt appears every time TRAXPro or PETRAPro is opened.

Resolution: Remove the manifest file associated with the program. This prevents UAC from requesting admin credentials.

Steps to Resolve:

✅ Step 1: Delete the Manifest File for PETRAPro
C:\Program Files\JAMAR\Petrapro\Petrapro.exe.manifest

✅ Step 2: Delete the Manifest File for TRAXPro
C:\Program Files\JAMAR\Traxpro\Traxpro.exe.manifest

✅ Step 3: Check Compatibility Settings
If you previously set the program to Run as Administrator in Compatibility Mode, uncheck that option after removing the manifest file.
Note: If using a 64-bit operating system, the Program Files folder will be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\JAMAR...

Expected Outcome: TRAXPro and PETRAPro launch without prompting for admin credentials.
